Situated at the North end of Lake Windermere at Newbry Bridge is Lakes Quarium. Tickets are reasonably priced, and there is a good variety of fish and other animals/insects to see. A great experience, especially for babies. The bright colours and movement of the fish really gets their attention. The venue is quite small and you're round the whole thing in less than 40 minutes. There are also no toilets inside the building and you'll need to use the ones on the railway platform around the corner.... read full comment
