We booked 10 days ago to stay here tonight, had an email 2 days ago asking us to confirm the booking, only to arrive in Milnthorpe this afternoon to be informed by a passer-by that the hotel had been closed for over 2 WEEKS! Not acceptable!

We came in here at lunch time hoping to have some lunch before a family funeral at a local church. The landlord and landlady couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. Lovely traditional coaching inn. Very hospitable and great value for money. We called in without booking for a Sunday Roast and we’re not disappointed with the price and quality, well worth a visit. The dizzy blonde IPA was delicious and well kept, roast was a good old fashioned pub Sunday dinner with a lovely sticky... read full comment
