The best thing about the hotel is the staff, who were lovely. However the hotel itself is tired and in need of a deep clean. The stair carpet wasn’t particular clean, although the landing on the first floor was fine. The wallpaper in the hallway was faded with a few damp patches showing. Lovely hotel, plenty of room to park the coach in the car park. Fabulous room, huge bed, huge bath. Lovely bar, Guinness on tap! Only issue was finding something to eat in the evening as the hotel doesn’t serve food & the pub was closed. The local shop has a microwave though & is open until 9pm
