Visited on our way back from Scotland. We had Cumberland Sausage (2 sausages) Bap, a scone with rum butter & a coconut, cherry & chocolate slice in the Mill Cafe. All excellent. Lovely old renovated mill building by the river. Visited the Caldbeck Crafters Cooperative - all local hand made crafts. Excellent quality & choice.... read full comment

Priest's Mill in Caldbeck is an 18th Century restored Corn Mill that is now a thriving arts and crafts centre with shops and cafe. Come and enjoy a warm Cumbrian welcome, great food and interesting shops including The WoolClip for all things woollen, Little Crooked Tree Gift Shop and Gallery, The Caldbeck Crafter's co-operative and The Watermill Cafe. All situated in the pretty Northern Fells Village of Caldbeck in the Lake District National Park.
