Quick visit.beer and soft drink.Heavily booked for eating. It has changed,since covid,still retains charm ,yet so much more costly.

This pub is a must whilst in Hawkshead the staff are very friendly and helpful I wanted a gluten free burger when ordered they came back to me and said they had charged their supplier and had to ring them to find out if burger was gluten free the answer was no but I thought that was fantastic what they did for me the food... read full comment

Our restaurant, awarded an AA rosette, has a menu to suit all tastes but, at its core, still serves humble pub food served with flair and only created using the freshest seasonal produce with help from local suppliers.
We love the patter of paws and so we're an extremely dog friendly pub.
We have thirteen comfortable guest rooms all with private bathrooms and all individually styled and furnished. Free Wi-Fi is available for all our guests
