Popped in for a drink after having passed the sign on the road for years and wondered what it was like. It was really lovely! Food looked great, staff were friendly and the bar was well stocked. We will be back to stay a couple of nights I am sure!

Well, the blackboard outside read 'muddy boots and soggy dogs welcome'. We were certainly made to feel really welcome with two large slightly damp dogs ?. We had a table out of everyone's way, and we were offered some rugs for them too. We are staying at Thornbrook Barn for a week in a caravan and definitely going back... read full comment
