“Stayed in a very well appointed, clean,comfortable room which had everything we needed. Appreciated the offer of fresh milk. Dinner was marvellous. The dining room and bar were very inviting. The food was stunning with our favourite being the beef - the beetroot bordelaise sauce was beautiful. There really wasn't a course that didn't wow us. The service was very friendly and professional. The sommelier was incredibly helpful and it was great that he let us taste the wines we were considering that we hadn't had before. We were very pleased with our choices and his help Breakfast in the morning was a real treat. The Kouign-Amann was lovely and there was real care and attention given to everything We enjoyed everything and would recommend”

“In store this morning and ordered Oswald chair, Edith recliner etc. Very helpful and friendly staff. Knowledgeable, and if they didn't know the answer they went to find out. Lovely coffee and scone in Pausa at very reasonable prices, then more browsing and buying. Would highly recommend.”

“Good breakfast, very helpful staff. All that was disappointing was that the tables needed clearing, and ours was a little sticky. But it seemed only two staff were working hard to keep up with demand.”

“A well sized room, heating was good. Good comfy bed, there wasn't too much noise from other rooms and the doors closed quietly in the halls. The only real note would be the water pressure being slightly low, but I was on the top floor.”

Listened to what we were looking for then provided some really helpful info and pointed out the options, then leaving us to try in our own time without any pressure. After we’d had some time testing mattresses Lisa took us through purchase process and nothing seemed too much trouble..really excellent manner and made experience really enjoyable…something I’d never thought I’d say about buying a mattress!”

“I went for the weekend very last minute got a room no problem. The staff were all fantastic and couldn't do enough for you, the rooms were clean and modern with everything and more I will be going back reasonably prices for the hotel itself. And the breakfast was beautiful too.Rooms: Double rooms and bed was massive clean and tidy 5* rooms.”

“Checkin quick and easy, we were given our meal deal voucher and booked table for dinner. We booked one of the new premier plus rooms this was lovely well worth the small extra cost. Beth served us at dinner, she was lovely and pleasant. Food was excellent and brilliant value. We would recommend purchasing the meal deal included breakfast next day. Margaret served us breakfast, she was lovely and pleasant. Breakfast was buffet and lots of choice. Would recommend this premier inn as a great place to stay in Carlisle, hope to be back soon.”

“What a lovely hotel, we were greeted with smiles and asked how our travels were pur room was clean ans the beds were so comfie the kids had a brilliant sleep and us too, we were welcomed with a big bag of sweets from the cleaning team... overall we will be returning here from now on..Dinner and breakfast is all on site.. with one paying adult kids eat free.Rooms: Room was clean and spare pillowsFood & drinks: The restaurant is attached to the hotel so no need to go outside between mealsNoteworthy details: Staff were really friendly and welcoming ?”
