Got a car from here last Feb i wouldn't advise buying a car from here got 1 year warranty with my car that cover not a lot. Had 3 faults with the car that said warranty wouldn't cover. After getting a full MOT and service to the car more problems come up. Very old oil in the car after they told me they gave it a full service before I got it. So anyone wanting a car from here I wouldn't. I have tried to call and talk to someone. To get someone to get back to you it is now 11 months no one has got back to me yet

I have been looking a car over 5 mounts one day my friend told me to look in David hayton . First think i like to thank to Ryan Ferguson deep from my heart. Unbelievable kindness, wonderful person, smart, friendly, helpful most important part of him is honesty. Its been long time for me to see Al this skills in a person fully loaded. I can also say the similar thinks for other workers . Because Ower the phone or face to face I felt from the starting point untill the end very good. Welldone every member of the autostore Carlisle . For the business part of my experience is everything was very smooth,clear and fast. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for car . Please go to store and feel that atmosphere.

Excellent service from Gavin, Ben, Josh and team. It was a long wait for things to work through on my side, but it was eventually all sorted - then on the day of collection, there was an issue with the car, rather than just letting me collect it anyway, they fixed it and brought it to me the next day! I also liked the fact they have a large varied selection indoors too, which due to harsh lighting, showed up every single mark on the car so I knew what I was buying - some marks I can't even see now! I hope this will be the start of a long relationship for our family with a local garage.

This garage has gone drastically downhill. They now have nothing for the person who wants something a little special but not a Lotus and trying to contact the service department is nearly impossible. Bought many cars from Haytons over the years but they have now lost my vote. Cheaper and better garages around Carlisle than this.

Never again. Bought a second hand 508 from here and within 12 months an injector had malfunctioned on what was sold to me as a brand new engine. I contacted the Carlisle branch expecting the kind of service and treatment I had had when I bought the car. Wrong. They didn't want to know. I bought the car as it allegedly had a brand new engine in it and stupidly, perhaps, assumed that it would get me a few years of trouble free motoring to get me to work and back.No courtesy car was available which meant I had to fork out nearly £300 on a hire car to get to work and back as their service department couldn't fit me in for nearly two weeks.When I finally got them to look at the vehicle they sold me, I was informed that it would be over £120 just to put it on the diagnostic to determine the trouble even though I had had it on my own code reader and told them injector 3 had malfunctioned. 45 minutes and £120 later I was informed that injector 3 had gone.I have now been quoted over £550 to replace one injector from them.The service I have received from David Hayton's is nowhere near what I would have expected from what I thought was a reputable company. I have definitely not been made to feel like a valued customer. Avoid.

BUYER BE AWAREI purchased a used car (2015 Jaguar XE) from David Hayton Trade Centre.After driving it off the forecourt I noticed the clutch was slipping ,the air conditioning and the Stop Start were not working. I e-mailed David Hayton about these faults and was asked to bring the car in for an inspection. They said the clutch was slipping slightly but was fine under normal driving conditions. The car was then booked into their workshop 3 days later for this work to be completed and when I picked the car up air con had been recharged and was now working fine. But the Stop Start still not working they said battery needed overnight charge. They said clutch was not slipping and ok even though they told me 3 days ago it was slipping when it went in for inspection. I gave them a letter to reject the car was told they weren?t going to take car back or repair the clutch as they said, ?what do expect the car is 4 ½ years old and done 76000 miles?. I took the car to a Halfords autocentre and got an independent assessment completed: the battery had only 35% life left, and the clutch was slipping.I was also told by David Hayton that the MOT had no advisory?s and when I checked the cars history ( mot?d in Oct 19) it was noted that there were 3 advisories; one being all disk brakes worn, pitted, and scored .David Hayton?s mot?d the car on 27th Dec and all advisories had gone but the car had completed a further 32 miles, but these advisories had not been remedied.I am just pleased I payed part on a credit card who are now paying for the repairs.The service I have received from David Hayton is nowhere near what I would have expected from what I thought was reputable company.
