This pub was recommended to us for a carvery and it did not disappoint. Reasonable prices and a kids’ menu to boot. Unable to comment on the accommodation Didnt stay over night.Stumbled across this place for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed,Was made very welcome with the locals too, food was very good and tasty, portions were not to big or too small.To be fair I agree with other reviews the building genuinely needs a modernization... read full comment

This is at the bottom of the hill of where we stay when we are in Cornwall brilliant place and love the ring game ! You have to try it if you are here. We come for the steak night this year and they were really nice . They had run out of one of the steaks we needed but compensated us for this.
