Dirty, tatty, unpleasant. Friendly bar staff but loud swearing customers who were shouting at each other and threatening to fight. One customer was even allowed to smoke at the bar. I left without finishing my drink.

As a previous reviewer says, don't judge a book by it's cover. Great local working pub with very friendly atmosphere. Popped in for a couple of pints and found it very welcoming and the staff/locals were very pleasant. Would return any time.

I like pubs where people go to drink, not pubs where you go for a posh meal. Thankfully this is the former.
