I went away because I was really down and ki have to say the pla e lifted me. OK it is in beautiful Cornwall, that helps, but everything was spot on and allowed my spirits to recover somewhat. Lovely room no hassles good food at a decent price, especially the meal deal.

We came for a few days stay as Cornwall was a childhood favourite. The hotel was in an ideal location to visit local towns, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant & bar is very welcoming and we found ourselves wanting to stay there instead of going out of an evening. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Generally cleanliness was good however in corner of room was full of cobwebs which begs the question what was the rest of the room like in hidden corners. Have to complement waiting staff in restaurant because it was exceptional
