Wow, what a pleasant surprise. We visited and had Sunday roasts - beef and nut roast. Both were really good and the portion size was fantastic. - Something that is becoming more of a rarity these days. We were both full for ages afterwards. Dog friendly in the bar area and booking advised. Good, welcoming service

The pub was previously a wool shop and record shop before being turned into a pub in the 1970s.
