First visit - we had a simple lunch which was done very well. The Asian crispy beef salad was excellent. Friendly and efficient service - nice setting / lovely area.

Only 2 vegetarian choices on the menu. Vegan burger or risotto. I went for the risotto which was like a plate of rice pudding. The rice was way over cooked and not like risotto at all. Very noisy so not a place for a quiet meal

After a family Boxing Day walk we finished off at The Dog. The pub was very busy with a great atmosphere and the staff attentive. We were seated and served quickly and the food was beautiful, unfortunately there was a slight issue with one of the dishes but this was not a problem as the staff soon resolved it.
