“The staff are really friendly and will go obove and beyond to help you with any problem that you may have. Always had a great experience and I have not had to wait for a cashier in the queue. They have even put an extra person on the desks if the queue is getting long. Brilliant customer service. Well done!”

“Nice to see little section of oriental delight that is locally and convenient. Be creative with full meal. I find that, if I simmer the dim sum or fishballs, it double it size. ( 10minites ) Then I added pack of noodles. And any veg I can fine, what water left I poach a crack or 2 ege separate or last thing I do in the same pot with the noodle.

With wonton pastry, similar to a pasta sheet, wrapped any fillings of choice then boil in water for 10 minuts till it wrinckly floating at top. Wonton soup or just eat with choice of dipping sauce.”

“It features the typical high prices of a small convenience store, but it's good for occasions when the Aldi opposite is closed. The people who work there are generally very friendly and they sell Wright's pies now that the bakery has closed, which is an added bonus.”

“Good place, friendly helpful and actually very caring staff. Always has everything I need. Good deals can be found if careful and keep an eye out. Unfortunately like almost all smaller and bigger places to food shop in at the moment this Mccolls is also experiencing a shortage of brand packaged bread delivery due to shortage of delivery drivers and the difficulties being experienced by companies in getting certain ingredients to make the bread, and which may all be down to Covid or crazy Brexit and is by no means the fault of any smaller convenience shops or bigger supermarkets, but just how the economy unfortunately is now. So don't take frustrations out on staff working in these places as they are not responsible for this particular issue or similar others nor are they at fault or to blame, and they probably can't get items they need either, and don't need abuse or threats or hassle of any kind from anyone over these issues. Be thoughtful, respectful and be kind.”

“This is not my usual branch, I came in to pay for a car purchase locally to the branch. So I have one visit only. The staff were absolutely fantastic, genuine people who were genuinely there to help me. My local branch (Alfreton and Clay Cross) could learn a lot from the great group of staff. Thank you very much. James (not Bond)”

“Friendly, efficient staffing. It gets busy at times, but I can live with that. The staff are doing the best they can with limited resources provided by Morrisons.Don't expect Morrisons supermarket prices, which I find annoying, but that is not the fault of the staff.Overall, it is my favourite of the local convenience stores.”

“I genuinely was afraid to go based on the low reviews, I just recently moved to the area and I was going to change my bank because of the reviews but I was definitely shocked. As the women working in HSBC are really nice and genuinely want to sort out any problem that you may have. I had to change my entire HSBC details after being abroad for a while and they changed all my details and then helped me very kindly with my online banking. The lady was very patient as I kept blundering along with it and told me I can come back again if it doesn't work. So they are actually really nice, one flaw that I can really think of is the HSBC app can be hard to use in comparison with the Barclays.I think HSBC in Crewe have taken into consideration the bad reviews in the past and really changed, let's hope for the best it can remain that way :)”
