Arrived at the Beautiful village of Elton found the village shop just what we needed to stock up on essential supplies and cake . The owner was very friendly and helpful he even gave my wife some curry powder from his own kitchen . Wish all shops could be that good ?

Great village shop stocking wide variety of goods, really helpful friendly team of Ravi and Stephen running it, they will source anything you require. Lots of local produce including fruit and veg, local meats, beers, cheeses and breads. No longer a post office but there is a post box at the front of the building.
