Budgens is no longer a discount store as it was in the past. They've gone up market and so have their prices. Expect to pay a significant amount more for things like alcohol compared to supermarkets. I realise it's a convenience store. But the markup on alcohol and some other products is a bit over the top.

Just been ripped off at Budgens Aston Clinton . Two tiny pallets of blackberries ,mistake not pointed out for raspberries did not pick up two and got charged for two which when I got home I noticed and litres of milk.Bill over ten pound I will drive the extra miles to Tesco’s from now on.I expect to pay more but not... read full comment

Limited selection of convenience but the cook section is good to have in the village.
