Went to scs in Bristol and chose a 3 seater sofa and chair. Ordered it online. Came today. Very good tracking system and kept informed of delivery, delivered by benn and Sven. Two very friendly and helpful staff members. Love the furniture. REF BDW676386

Do not buy from SCS. If I could rate lower I would. The delivery was 6 weeks late making it 9 weeks from when I placed the original order. I had to ring up to get any type of update and nobody seemed to have a reason for why it was delayed. The website for ?track my order? does not work. All of this is shocking considering delivery is £99 with no option to pick up your order yourself, you only get told the delivery fee when placing the order.

We have been to this store a few times and Allan is such a top chap. Nothing is too much trouble. It's more like popping back to chat with an old friend, rather than just chatting to someone who works in a store. He really is a master of his craft and understands that being interested in you as a person, far outways being interested in what he can sell you. You buy because he is such a nice guy and he knows his stuff, rather than because you are being sold too. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Buyer beware once SCS have taken your payment and delivered your furniture they do not want to accept that there are faults with the manufacturing of sofa. They sent out a so called 'expert', who wrote a very biased report of course he did he works for SCS. I Sent my own pictures and video showing foam filling was cut short, still they say it's o.k.. We told the expert that the left side of sofa is sagging, he said it's the nature of the foam filling, he never even sat on the sofa so I take it he has psychic abilities to add to his expert credentials. How come the right hand seat does not sagg?, or is that to come later. All that SCS tell us to do is 'plump' the furniture, how can you 'plump ' what does not exist?.This is the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with, of course if all would have been o.k. I would have given a positive review.The picture shows under filled material, this is just one of the faults. 're your reply, so you do not trust my photos which show the fault clearly you blatantly do not give a toss, about your customers satisfaction...Under the sale of goods act 1979, and bearing in mind this sofa is only 5 months old we are entitled to a repair or replacement, as you have no intention of honouring any of my rights as a consumer I have no alternative and will seek the backing of trading standards.

Absolutely terrible company to buy furniture from. I paid £1400 for a tan leather two seater sofa with slightly darker stitching.The store manager contacted me 11 weeks later to advise me they had a tan sofa identical to the one I chose but dark stitching.Mine he said was still 3 or 4 weeks away from being ready and a further two from being delivered.I took delivery uncovered and thought oh it?s darker leather not stitching but leather than the one I paid £1400 cash for.3 weeks later I received a promotional email from SCS with my original sofa listed in the promotional so I phoned a different store and sure enough the sofa delivered was bordering on burgundy.The store manager where I bought my sofa had lied.Obviously I got straight on the phone and told them that unless they changed the sofa delivered for the one I purchased I would report them to trading standards.Without an apology from the store manager the sofa was eventually delivered and the wrong one collected. 6 weeks later.21 weeks or 5 months after handing over £1400 I had my chosen sofa.For all the customer always comes first mantra the customer in my experience comes a very distant second.Same with the carpet fitting. The estimators know next to nothing the store manager pleads complete ignorance.

1 star is too many for the service I've received. I purchased an ex show model sofa and was shown there was little damage to the back where the sofa had been leant against a wall. I received my sofa and was shocked at how badly worn and damaged it is, marks on it everywhere and there are even bits missing so it doesn't go together properly. Lots of phone calls and pictures and NOTHING has been done, £3000 on a sofa that looks 10 years old.

The sale attendant, Scott, was lovely and did not hover over us but explained the pricing structure and how to price up for all variants of the furniture, from non recline to manual reclining and electric recliners. We had a good old browse and then picked the lazyboy Tamla 3 seater electric recliners sofa with matching chair and footstool.Scott then applied the discounts and talked us through care of the product and we bought the care kit on his advice, we do have 2 cats so it make sense, we also got the gliders for easy moving of the furniture.I have to say that Scott made this very uncomplicated and explained everything and he made it a much nicer experience than any of the other places we went.He will call us on Thursday, to give us approximate time and day of delivery.Thank you ScottWe also got a very nice discount as we chose the demo model and it certainly did not look like it was used by all and sundry. We got 3600 worth for 2K. That is always a nice bonus

** Update **After a great visit and purchase of my sofa's, there was a massive delay and I only received them on 17/02/2022). I cannot fault the store manager for his honesty and arranging a loan sofa as we would have been left without for 7 months. Frustrating situation but made easier by the customer service of the branch at Imperial Park.Visited the store today (30/07/2021), no greeting on arrival by the two employees that we're there but a gentleman walked down the stairs not long after and greeted us immediately, his name was Simon and I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough - He went above and beyond to help us, even keeping my two children entertained so I could have time to work out the logistics etc. Purely because of his customer service we never went elsewhere and purchased my sofas with ScS.
