I ordered a watch online and chose the Bristol Goldsmiths in Cabot Circus as my collection point. My confirmation email arrived the next day but as I was unable to pick it up before it closed I decided to pick it up the next day.As my order wasn't the most expensive (£400-£500) compared to the majority of watches that Goldsmiths sell, I was half expecting to just turn up give my order reference number collect my order and leave.Boy was I wrong! Despite my appearance in my work gear and the relatively inexpensive item I had ordered, I was treated with the upmost curtesy from the start and was asked to sit in a very comfortable chair in the middle of the showroom.I feel very sorry for the member of staff that helped me as despite being extremely professional, I regrettably had to decline the offered drink and later watch bracelet adjustment as I was on a bit of a tight schedule.The member of staff filled out my warranty card, handled my watch with an emerald cotton glove and was very complimentary about my choice in watch. Whenever the member of staff had to retrieve anything I was never at any point left on my own for very long and we also had a bit of general watch banter.The member of staff could sense that I was in a rush but despite this he never lost focus or professionalism in helping me. I'm just sorry that I didn't have time to enjoy what I'm sure would have been a very unique and fantastic experience of simply picking up an online watch order.

Great experience. All staff were very friendly and helpful, but Constantine who took us through the watches was particularly helpful and set us at ease. Unfortunately the model my nephew chose wasn?t available at Goldsmiths at the time, otherwise we would have definitely purchased with you.

Staff are sound. Took links out of my watch free of charge as opposed to going to timpsons where they charge £12.50.

The new showroom is stunning and I had a fantastic experience collecting my new watch. The staff were very friendly and professional and made my wife and I feel very welcome. We even enjoyed a glass of champagne!

Enquired on a ring that my partner liked. After being sized up and having good service, we left with the promise that they would be in touch to confirm the order (we need a special size that needed to be confirmed by the supplier) 11 days on - 8 days after they promised to be in touch - we have had no contact, and no response to our emails or voicemails we have left. Where is the customer service?!

Terrible customer and service experience from the day of Ring collection until having them denying the service which verbally offered on resize or exchange of new rings. Not worth visiting Cabot Circus.
