Popped in after loosing a screw on my prescription sunglasses. Sadly they didn't have the right size screw but were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely visit again to get glasses if their customer service is like this all the time.

Goldsmith and Harvey are the best opticians I have ever been to, hands down.They are always friendly, helpful and professional, but in a way that always makes you feel welcome as a member of the family rather than just another customer.They are not my nearest optician, nor the cheapest (that being said that are still competitive) but I wouldn't go anywhere else at this point.To the staff there: thank you! You're awesome!

Thank you so much for the care and patience you showed my 96yr old mum. She has dementia and is also hearing impaired which can make appointments difficult. I am also amazed at how quickly you sent a letter to her GP. Thank you. My family has always had our tests and glasses from you. Always been so good, wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

My 9 year old son visited on Ftiday and was personally greeted upon arrival allowing him to feel valued. The front of house staff could not have been more friendly, reassuring him that the optician was lovely.They weren't wrong she was amazing. My little man is very chatty and told her about his eyes pixiling when deeply concentrating she explained why this happened and how to stop it.During the examination she continued to answer his questions and explained everything to him.When leaving the front of house staff spoke again with my son to ensure he had a good experience.Long story short, he's gutted he doesn't need to be seen for another 2 years.Best customer service ?

A very good experience. Came with quite a complicated issue that other opticians had failed terribly to solve. Although costing a bit more, the advice, service and speed of production was second to none! Would highly recommend.....Don't waste your time with spec savers or vision express......many thanks for all your help

Personalised and professional service from a highly qualified team.Ive been wearing glasses since I was 3. Yet even though my prescription is currently the worst its been, thanks to G&H, I now have the best sight ive ever experienced!Im an extremely fussy customer, yet there was nothing I was left unsatisfied with. (This is quite an achievement)There is very little they dont know about or can help with.On top of that their Covid safety standards are better than any shop ive been in to date.Do yourself a favour and get down there or just ring them up.Its not an overstatement to say that it could change your life. Never discount your sight!Many thanks to Mark and the team, I shall definitely be returning.

I have been a customer of G&H since I was 4/5 years old and I'm 41 now. I have never gone elsewhere and as long as they or I am around I wouldn't. The service has always been absolutely exceptional. The staff take time to get to know you and your requirements. I have literally never had a bad experience here and would recommend them to anyone. They always go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble.

I haven't had my eyes tested in over 20 years. I booked without issue during Covid times. Everyone could not have been more helpful, they gave me a call a few days before my appointment to check I remembered and had it in my diary. An optometrist called Dee tested my eyes and was really very helpful. I will be sure to continue to use this opticians in the future. Thank you!

I have been using these opticians for years, always professional and very helpful, when it comes to Eyesight I am very fussy, and Mark has given me a tremendous service, chose two pairs of Persol glasses and a week later they were ready, in a pandemic phenomenal time frame.The glasses look amazing quality, and fully recommend to everyone that they go there for a test and glasses, unbeatable service.
