Was a nice pub. But the band booker is an unscrupulous cheapskate, that has really dampened the vibe. Avoid unless you enjoy being ripped off.

I had time to pass, so I briefly stopped by for a coffee. The staff were very friendly and the coffee was lovely. The lady who served me, who I think might be the manager, welcomed me and mentioned she was to say happy birthday to a regular, who'd stopped by for their weekly pie and a pint lunch.
