I had always wanted to try the Novotel Reading because it is next to the IBIS I know quite well (very good too).I wanted a local getaway for my 50th and I was treated like a queen. I am very pleased with the overall experience.

Location is great. In the room the toilet is seperated and has no hand wash basin. The bathroom has a bath and a shower but the shower only worked on 2 settings: scold and boil.Room itself is a good size and clean.The fan did not work or not well enough. Hotel was great in central Reading Cark Park was not easy to find even with provide instructions and took 5 mins to gain access. Room was well equipped and very clean. Breakfast was not great but I may have arrived at the wrong time as the buffet was being
