Beautiful village pub with very good restaurant. Very popular, table booking recommended.

Went on a Thursday evening in August for a meal. Staff were lovely, bright and friendly. Had a snack of Pork Croquettes, Nduja & Parmesan along with some Bread & Butter. The Pork Croquettes were very tasty. However the Bread & Butter could have been a touch fresher.
Located in the village of Bray, The Crown is a 16th-Century village pub serving modern British pub food, with a focus on seasonal ingredients in an informal and friendly setting.
The menu features a variety of British pub classics such as Fish & Chips with Crushed Peas and Homemade Tartare Sauce, alongside seasonal dishes such as Crown Estate Venison, Thyme Rosti, Kale Anise Carrot & Venison Jus. As the philosophy of the kitchen is to create simple, flavourful dishes using seasonal produce, the menu changes according to what is in season.
The pub is a former inn, with low-beamed ceilings and open fireplaces – perfect for cold winter evenings. In the summer, guests can enjoy food and drink in our Courtyard or Garden areas.
