Good toilets in a building to far left / behind the farm shop. Cafe in rear left corner requires getting your name down on a paper wait list (do not just queue outside as we did) which we didn?t learn until a few people got sat. At such point we could no longer be accommodated. However! There is a delicatessen inside the farm shop so we filled a shopping bag with goodies and sat outside. Luckily it wasn?t windy nor raining.Farm shop is a bit more expensive as expected but the presentation and selection was delightful. The marquee Xmas market at the back made for a lovely stroll through. Had some sausage rolls, sandwiches, cream cones and coffees. Nice to stop by though nothing on Chatsworth House at this time of year!

Very large selection of produce (majority of which is local). Really enjoyed browsing the outdoor greengrocers for soup ingredients.

Made to wait as ne free tables, OK not a problem, but after getting in we were told breakfast orders were not being taken at 11:40. Orders had stopped at 11:30 (whilst we were in the queue). We could order lunch for 12 o'clock. Which we did. Got served out hot drinks very quickly but had to wait until nearly 12:20 for our cheese sandwiches.

Was somewhat disappointed in this - my parents had been there 10 years ago and loved it, so they wanted to stop again, and all of us were a little let down. Maybe more impressive before farm type shops become more common, but saw very little you can?t get elsewhere and as people who spend a lot on food, none of us were tempted by more than a couple of items. I got some bakery items (almond croissant and a cookie), and they certainly weren?t worth the price. The service was, however, wonderful. If you don?t have a farm shop in your area, or if you can buy some meat (which did look good, but we?re staying in a hotel) maybe you?ll be more impressed than we were.

For a place that has an incredible line up of cheeses in the farm shop; the cheese sandwich in the cafe was a real disappointment. £8 for a thin sliced young cheddar sandwich that tasted like it was from a super market, is a bit of a joke. Such an easy fix, use a quality cheddar along with slightly thicker premium bread, then maybe you can charge £8 without being embarrassed.

A lovely farm shop with an abundance of local produce. The staff are helpful and friendly. Just be ware, it does get busy so you do wait a while queuing but it?s well worth it.

Chatsworth Farm Café was lovely! We had afternoon tea. Although it was school holiday time and quite busy the service was great! Very tasty scones.

If you're going to come all the way for Chatsworth House, be sure and save time to visit and have lunch at this fine little farm shop. Wonderful produce, all very fresh and local. The cafe around back has a very nice lunch menu and friendly staff who may well be overwhelmed with the volume of visitors. Really nice patio to dine on with sweeping views of the valley. We had the smoked salmon with salad and potatoes and the fishcakes. All tasty. Very affordable, too. Very convenient loos nearby. Also, there's a trailhead here with what looked like promising walks to the west. We'd go back.

Stopped in for breakfast & some fresh produce. Good quality, but it is a bit more expensive than other places but you pay for quality. The deli has a wonderful selection of pies, padties, meats & cheeses & huge ready-made baps. There is even cream tea in a box ready to go. The cafe has a decent breakfast menu & the service was quick and efficient, but most of all, the staff are lovely ! If you get a chance to sit outside- do! It's got a wonderful view.

OMG! could have spent a small fortune here. As it was spent £30. The produce is excellently presented, deli, butchers and fish along with vegetables, fruit and flowers. So much choice. We purchased some Chatsworth estate cheese, home made quiche, home made apple pie, potatoes, salad...the list could go on. I thought it was reasonably priced too.Might make another trip before we depart for home.

Farm shop is reasonably priced with good quality items that are unusual and reflect the local area. Café is wonderful with an epic view from the outside terrace. Sandwiches and burgers are great, with large portions. Recommend stopping off here!
